Bench Top Router Table | DIY

Matt gave me an older Craftsman router for gift. After fixing the power button problem, I kind of put it aside and used the trim router I have for most of the time. After a year I decided to make a router table for it using all scraps. I had the acrylic (1\2 inch) laying around and had the 3/4 MDF that was part of a jig I was not using. Side pieces came from a pallet. Wrenches I made was from unused tools around the shop. I did have hard time squaring the fence. I think since I was removing a small amount from the side that was 3 inches high, blade started to deflect instead of cutting the wood. This caused a lot of burning and friction that was stopping the saw.
