I have been thinking of making gifts for teachers since my wife is a teacher. I wanted to make a pencil holder that looks like a pencil. I got 2B yellow pencils from the store and tried to scale it up. I made the first one not in front of the camera since I was trying to figure things out. I ended up changing the pencil holes and covered the whole thing with polyurethane to protect it. I matched the “yellow” at home depot and custom mixed acrylic paint to get the eraser color matched.
