DIY Spice Rack From Reclaimed Wood & Copper

I promised my wife spice jar organization about 6 months ago. Finally I got to it. I started with side of a bench we used to use. I think it is red oak. I started to cut it on the table saw and right away I made a mistake. I used a skinny stick to push the wood and I was on the side closer to the fence. I do not have a riving knife (old Craftsman saw). So force of the uneven push caused the wood to get pushed towards the blade and I got a kickback. I got hit on my right side ribs. Toke my breath away but I was alright. I do have 2 other push sticks and I just made a bad decision. Please do not do this and learn from my mistake. Used new copper pipes and 5 minutes epoxy. Failed to measure the pipe size right and had to remove the first pipe and replace the short parts with ¾ inch longer pipes. Stained it with Minwax Golden Oak And sealed it with Minwax Clear Aerosol Lacquer Thank you for watching. And please Subscribe Like and Comment Utkan
