I was not able to make a gift for my wife for valentines day. On the day of valentines day when she went to work I started to make this. Did not have a good plan , found the walnut on my pile and cut it with the bandsaw and used the X-Carve to flatten the piece. And cut the simple design on the walnut. I wanted lighter wood to frame this. So I got the first light looking wood in the pile and cut the shape out . And that's when somehow X-carve keep failing and cutting deeper then normal. Bit got loose , started to vibrate and mess up. On the 5th try I got it. Then it did not fit right away. I had to sand a lot to get it in. Used epoxy to fill the mess I made. More sanding. Dropped my camera on the floor and broke my 24-105 L series lens. Cursed a lot. Used spray lacquer to seal it.
